The Chillax inflatable cold plunge tub is designed for easy setup and can typically be inflated in less than a minute using the included pump. If you purchase the chiller, you simply need to attach both quick connect hoses to your tub. The inlet on the tub should connect with the outlet on the chiller. The outlet on the tub should connect with the inlet on the chiller. Aside from connecting the hoses, your filter and UV light purifier come preinstalled in your chiller ready for use.
A 1 year manufacturers warranty is included with your purchase. This warranty specfically covers damages that affect the usage of the tub. This does not include usage damaged or scratches. It is crucial that you use the provided Teflon tape on ALL quick connect inputs and outputs that are placed on the tub and the chiller.
There are 2 that go into the tub, and 2 that go into the chiller. It is imperative to use Teflon tape to avoid ALL leaks. When your unit is connected properly, there should be absolutely 0 leaks across the board from tub, to hoses, to chiller. Please refer to the setup video in the FAQ above for a video on where to place the teflon tape specifically.
Don't worry - this is a safety feature in our systems! These chillers are complex machines with sensors just like a car has for an oil change. If you system is not cooling, you will probably notice the fan not spinning on the back. You might also see the temperature showing a really cold temp when the tub is not cold. This means there is air trapped in the unit and it needs a quick reset.
1. Turn off the breaker for your unit
2. Unplug the unit
3. Disconnect the inlet to the unit
4. Plug in the unit
5. Turn on the breaker
6. Give it 30 seconds and reconnect the inlet hose
7. Your unit should start right up and you will hear the fan kick on
8. You should also notice water coming out of the top hole of your plunge to confirm it is working
